Aruba Tourism wakes up
after the pandemic
Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Aruba’s tourism industry has started to recover thanks to its massive vaccination
program against Covid-19. After a break of more than a year in the cruise industry, Celebrity Millennium has set sail.
Celebrity Millennium restarted activities with a cruise that sailed with almost 500 passengers on board. More than 95% of
the passengers were fully vaccinated against Covid-19, including all the members that make up the crew. With the departure
of this cruise, another industry has opened after the pandemic, benefiting tourism on the sunny island.
Aruba Hotel and Tourism Association has shown an increase in the number of monthly arrivals recovered in Aruba. Now, it
is getting closer and closer to 2019 metrics.

Lima Bistro is officially
open to the public
Lima Bistro Aruba, the new restaurant at Harbour
House Aruba, is finally finished! Artists have
designed this unique restaurant to provide an
incomparable experience to diners. The innovative
concept offers International Cuisine with a Peruvian
touch.
The Bistro has a stunning view of the harbor at
Oranjestad. Its environment was specially prepared
to delight visitors who will be spending time on the
island. Inside the restaurant, the walls have been
painted by the artist BunnyHop.
Lima Bistro Aruba is open Monday through
Saturday from 5 to 11 pm. For reservations, call

Frontier Airlines will launching
a new airlift from Miami
to Aruba in November 2021
Aruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA), the company that
manages and operates Queen Beatrix International
Airport (AUA Airport), announced that Frontier Airlines
would start working to Aruba in November 2021.
“We’re excited to announce service to Queen Beatrix
International Airport in Aruba with nonstop flights to
Miami beginning this November,” said Daniel Shurz,
senior vice president of commercial Frontier Airlines. The
initial plan is to start with one weekly service from Miami
International Airport (MIA).
